TIME TO GET CREATIVE!
We are in need of a designer to come up with some artistic concepts. If you are a willing and able artist please submit your work to aviatorsnz@gmail.com
If your doodles strike us then we will be in touch with you. We will be commissioning one person for album, poster and website designs. Just think, your art could be in music stores and gig walls all over the country!
There is no design brief for this, just get creative. Draw us a poster, an album cover, anything! We will look favorably on robots/machines. IF YOU CAN'T DRAW FOR BALLS, TELL YOUR ARTSY FRIENDS!
All submissions will be posted on our website (unless you don't want them to).
Album!
It's been two intense weeks but we now have the bones of an album recorded. Actually, more than bones. We have organs, blood, fluids and muscle tissue too. Just need to add the skin and hair.
Old Jimmy Sherwood flew down from Katikati to be the guest guitarist on one of our songs and ended up smashing out a four-minute solo that's a real pants-wetter. The surrounding houses in Island Bay will still be fuming. The volumes were large and the day was still.
The album is going to be a stunner. It's the product of four years of writing (and three years or recording - argh!) and now we are looking at an August-September release. The party will be huge, we assure you.

Hey.
Sorry we haven't updated this website in a while. Our main excuse is PURE laziness, but a nicer excuse is that we are recording an album. It has been a very long time coming and we are about halfway through the end slog. Keep it on the hush, but word on the street is that a certain ex-member (who shall remain nameless) may be playing his greek guitar on a few of our songs. TBC folks, TBC.
We will try our darnedest to update this website a bit more. But nobody goes on the internet anymore anyway.
